A natural skin cleaning/exfoliating agent used by our ancestors after a hard day’s work. It is culturally significant and naturally grown in Grenada. It’s a non abrasive fibre base plant which is gentle on the skin • #loofah
In an attempt to reduce the debris/refuse left at our natural water sources ( #beaches • #rivers • #streams • #springs • #waterfalls ) after we’ve all played ah weekid JabJab on Jouvert morning and the clean up process has commenced (which has become a serious cause for concern as it relates to the effects on the environment).
We at @jambalaseegrenada are continuing to do what we can to help mitigate this problem. Another reason for the reintroduction of the Jambalasee Charcoal JabJab Oil as a traditional & healthier alternative to play our beloved JabJab. And now added to the equation is the Jambalasee Jab & Bath Wukz intended to limit the items left behind after clean up [rags, hand towels, pieces of cloths, harsh dishwashing soap products and even petroleum products not meant for use on the human body].
We’ve more or less gone back to ancient days and reconnected with the way our ancestors did.
It’s Naturally Cultural
Grenada, 2026 35 YEARS OF JAB JAB MUSIC HISTORY. ONE EPIC REVOLUTION. 👹 The definitive anthem is back. To celebrate 35 years of Jab Jab music, the iconic Jambalasee Rule has been completely reimagined, bridging the gap between the legends who built this culture and the firebrands carrying it into the future. The Grenadian band M. O. S. S International is highlighted as the vehicle that advanced an indigenous part of Grenada’s culture. They essentially created a musical sub-genre that has had a major impact on the Caribbean’s musical landscape and on our cultural history. M.O.S.S’ 1991 smash hit JAMBALASEE RULE marked the first time in Grenada’s history that the indigenous goat-skin drums, conch shells and jab-chants of j’ouvert morning had made their way into a recording studio and unto a record. Thus marking the official birth of JAB MUSIC.
CRYAVE @cryaveoffical Former National Groovy Monarch of Grenada, CRYAVE, is back in 2025 with a groovy smasher entitled “BAD COMPANY”. COALS DUST RIDDIM Featuring SKINNY BANTON x TEMPTRESS x BROTHER B Produced by Jambalasee Grenada MuZiK
The conchshell as a musical instrument makes up one of the three elements of the JabJab sound. The “Coals Dust Riddim '' highlights the live conch shell pattern of the JabJab. Recorded as part of Jambalasee Grenada’s live sound sampling, on location Grenada jouvert.
The elements of the JabJab music needs to retain its purity. Musical sampling of its core elements is one such way we can archive this. Insert, the Coals Dust Riddim.
